  • Utilizing your knowledge of hazardous area classifications to prepare data sheets and classification drawings, ensuring safety and compliance
  • Contributing to optimizing energy consumption, CAPEX, and OPEX by introducing state-of-the-art solutions
  • Reviewing layouts, electrical schemes, and design drawings during the technical evaluation stage, ensuring compliance with project specifications
  • Preparing scope of work and technical specifications for electrical subcontracts and RFQ packages for power supply units, transformers, and electrical materials
  • Performing electrical calculations using tools like ETAP, including load flow, short circuit, motor studies, and harmonic studies

You will also be involved in FAT/SAT and commissioning of electrical equipment, ensuring successful implementation, and you will support proposals, R&D, technical service teams and QHSE in electrical matters and solutions, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

As part of this role, you should be prepared for travel and site activities, which can range from 50 to 100 days per year, depending on the specific requirements of our business. It is essential to have a willingness to travel both nationally and internationally for site inspections and design assignments. This aspect of the job offers valuable hands-on experience and the opportunity to contribute to projects on a global scale.

What you’ll bring
You have a degree in Electrical Engineering with atleast 12 years of experience and experience in conventional or renewable process technologies. To excel in this role, you have a willingness to work as part of a team, leading various technology plant designs, with a specific focus on classified area locations according to IEC, EN, and NFPA standards.

Besides this you:

  • Have working knowledge and familiarity with codes and standards such as NEC, IEC, ISO, and CE, and the ability to apply them effectively
  • Have proficiency in working with voltage ranges from 110VAC to 33kV, particularly in 3-phase applications
