Head of Project Quality

Headline:
Lead Project Quality for Global Energy Transition Initiatives

Role and impact:
As Head of Project Quality, you will own and shape the quality agenda for Topsoe’s flagship energy-transition projects. This senior leadership role offers real influence over delivery and risk management in large Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management (EPCM), Technology, and Power-to-X (PTX) projects. You will define and implement project quality governance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and best practices across all project phases—from bid and execution to handover—leaving a lasting impact on our commitment to “right-first-time” delivery. Your work will involve high-impact collaboration with global suppliers, fabricators, and customers, driving measurable improvements in vendor performance and project outcomes. You will lead and develop a network of project quality professionals, acting as the main escalation point with the autonomy to challenge priorities and drive corrective actions. Your leadership will ensure robust quality assurance, risk-based planning, and compliance with international standards, supporting Topsoe’s mission to deliver sustainable solutions worldwide.

What you will bring:
You are an experienced quality leader with a proven track record in EPCM or large industrial technology projects. Your expertise includes quality planning, supplier quality management, inspection and test activities (such as Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT)), traceability, and documentation for project handover. You excel in structured problem solving and continuous improvement, including nonconformance and corrective action processes (NCR/CAPA), root cause analysis, and audits. You are comfortable leading through influence in complex project organizations, balancing quality, schedule, cost, and risk. Your communication skills enable you to build trust across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and with external stakeholders. You are fluent in English, willing to travel as needed, and hold a relevant engineering or technical degree (or equivalent experience). Certification as an ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor is required.

Why join us:
At Topsoe, you will join a collaborative environment where problem-solving and innovation are at the heart of everything we do. For over 80 years, our teams have been united by a passion for tackling some of the world’s biggest challenges, always striving for excellence and real impact. We foster a culture of respect, inclusion, and shared success, where every idea is valued and can drive meaningful change. You will have the opportunity to work alongside dedicated experts, contribute to a more sustainable future, and grow your career through continuous learning and development. We prioritize the safety and well-being of our employees, ensuring a supportive and secure workplace where everyone can thrive.

Your new team:
You will be part of a global quality team, collaborating with passionate colleagues from the United States, Denmark, Poland, and India. Together, you will drive excellence and innovation in project quality across diverse and impactful energy-transition projects.

If you would like to be part of a team of skilled and professional colleagues in an informal organization, please submit your documents in English.
