Application Specialist

Who we’re looking for
 

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Application Manager with expertise in SAP WM (Warehouse Management), EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), and Distribution to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will manage the day-to-day operations of our SAP logistics systems, lead project work, handle change requests, and provide 2nd-level support to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse and distribution processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize SAP systems: Responsible for maintaining, configuring, and optimizing SAP WM and EWM modules to ensure they meet business needs.
• Change Requests: Coordinate, analyze, and implement change requests related to SAP WM, EWM, and Distribution modules to align with evolving business requirements.
• Project Management: Lead and participate in SAP-related projects such as system upgrades, process enhancements, and new implementations within warehouse and distribution operations.
• 2nd-Level Support: Provide advanced support to resolve incidents, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with internal stakeholders and SAP consultants to address technical challenges.
• Process Improvements: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., logistics, supply chain, and IT) to identify areas for operational improvements in warehouse and distribution processes and implement best practices.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, change requests, and processes to ensure transparency and continuity.
• Training and Development: Train end-users on new system functionalities, enhancements, and best practices within SAP WM, EWM, and distribution systems.
• Compliance and Data Accuracy: Ensure that all solutions comply with company policies, data integrity, and security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Great collaboration skills to ensure alignment progress and clarity.
• 8+ years of experience managing SAP WM and EWM applications in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Expertise in SAP WM, SAP EWM, and distribution modules with a proven ability to manage end-to-end processes.
• Experience with process optimization and project management within the SAP landscape.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience providing 2nd-level support in an IT environment.
