Application Specialist - SAP PP, QM, Digital Manufacturing

Role and impact:

As an Application Specialist in SAP Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), and Digital Manufacturing, you will play a key role in running, maintaining, and developing SAP-supported processes for production. Your focus will be on SAP S4 Hana and SAP Digital Manufacturing, ensuring robust and efficient production operations.

Among your responsibilities you will:

- Run, maintain, and develop SAP-supported processes for production, leveraging SAP S4 Hana and SAP Digital Manufacturing

- Provide hands-on configuration and support for SAP PP, QM, and SAP Digital Manufacturing, with a service-minded approach and strong solution documentation

- Deliver and stabilize Topsoe’s production-supported processes, supporting business process alignment with Global Process Owners (GPO)

- Work independently on projects and change requests, managing minor projects and participating as a functional lead on larger initiatives

- Become an expert in the SAP production area, driving continuous improvement and supporting the offshoring of tasks from Denmark to India

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

- 10+ years of SAP experience within Production Planning, Quality Management, and SAP Digital Manufacturing

- Hands-on expertise as a functional consultant, with practical experience in SAP S4 Hana and preferably SAP Digital Manufacturing

- Experience as an SAP consultant, including direct client contact and project implementation in the European Union

- Strong technical SAP skills, with additional benefits if you have SAP middleware skills (such as SAP-Pco, Cloud Platform Integration) and technical skills in Java or JavaScript

- Experience working in collaborative teams, sharing knowledge, and proactively driving SAP consulting excellence

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to inform stakeholders on solutions, progress, and issues both verbally and in writing

Your new team:

You will join Global IT, Corporate Applications department, and sub-team of: Global Supply (GS) IT Services. The department is responsible for running and maintaining support for IT systems supporting Topsoe GS related processes across: Procurement, Production Planning, Manufacturing. Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Logistics, and HSE.

The IT system support is largely based on SAP technology. The target for the unit is to continuously serve Topsoe GS mission including supporting business productivity targets by offering secure and stable solutions, as well as continuously introduction new technology including AI, while adhering to the SAP roadmap. The SAP organization consists of ~20 deeply skilled SAP colleagues who are experts in functional and technical areas. The team is based in Denmark and India supporting the global organization.
