Application Specialist - SAP MM, SD/Logistics

Role and impact:
As an Application Specialist focusing on SAP Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Digital Manufacturing, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of SAP-supported processes. Your responsibilities will span both day-to-day operations and strategic project delivery, making a significant impact on our global business.

Your main tasks will include:
- Running and maintaining SAP-supported processes across procurement, approval workflows (purchase order and invoice approvals), distribution, transportation, intercompany setup, and solution documentation
- Performing hands-on configuration in SAP S4 Hana and Ariba, ensuring seamless integration and process optimization
- Managing and organizing the project pipeline, leading business process alignment with Global Process Owners (GPO), and ensuring successful delivery with technical teams, including external offshore resources
- Overseeing minor projects and participating as a functional lead on larger initiatives, driving project delivery and supporting the offshoring of tasks from Denmark to India

What you will bring:
To succeed in this role, you will bring:

- 10+years of experience in SAP, with extensive experience in Materials Management and Logistics
- Hands-on expertise in Ariba and a solid understanding of workflow processes
- Proven experience as an SAP consultant, including direct client contact and project implementation in the European Union
- Comfort with functional configuration in SAP S4 Hana and Ariba, and a service-minded approach to solution documentation and process support
- The ability to manage pipelines, align business processes, and deliver results with both internal and external teams, including offshore resources
- Experience with offshoring tasks and supporting the ongoing development of SAP platforms for core business processes
- Ability to work in CET time zone is required.

Your new team:
You will join Global IT, Corporate Applications department, and sub-team of: Global Supply (GS) IT Services. The department is responsible for running and maintaining support for IT systems supporting Topsoe GS related processes across: Procurement, Production Planning, Manufacturing. Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Logistics, and HSE.

The IT system support is largely based on SAP technology. The target for the unit is to continuously serve Topsoe GS mission including supporting business productivity targets by offering secure and stable solutions, as well as continuously introduction new technology including AI, while adhering to the SAP roadmap. The SAP organization consists of ~20 deeply skilled SAP colleagues who are experts in functional and technical areas. The team is based in Denmark and India supporting the global organization.
