Senior Project Procurement Manager

Role and impact:
As Senior Project Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving procurement performance across both sales and execution phases, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while proactively managing risks. You will define negotiation strategies and support their execution during high-value or complex negotiations, ensuring strong commercial outcomes through effective contract management and supplier engagement.

Your leadership will be instrumental in building and guiding a high-performing global team, with a strong focus on developing negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities. Acting as a hands-on coach and role model, you will support new and transitioning team members, ensuring delivery of targets and KPIs through clear governance, performance follow-up, and project pipeline visibility.

You will establish and maintain robust risk management practices and structured project reviews across the portfolio, while strengthening cross-functional collaboration and driving early procurement involvement in projects. Your work will have a direct impact on the success of our global projects and the overall performance of the procurement function.

What you will bring:
To succeed in this role, you bring strong stakeholder management skills and a proven ability to build trustworthy relationships across functions such as Category Management, Project Management, and Quality Assurance. You have deep experience with systems and analytics to drive opportunity and risk management, including tools like should-costing.

Your background includes significant experience in global project procurement within complex, technical environments- such as engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) companies or the oil and gas sector - and you are recognized as a leader of high-performing, multicultural teams across geographies.

You possess strong commercial acumen, with expertise in defining negotiation strategies and delivering results through others, as well as deep knowledge of complex sourcing, category management, and supplier performance across project lifecycles. A relevant commercial degree is expected, and technical flair or a technical degree is required. Experience with SAP is a clear advantage, and your open and honest communication style will help you thrive in our collaborative environment.
