Senior Lead Buyer

Role and impact:
As Senior Lead Buyer for Indirect Procurement, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing sourcing strategies across key categories such as Professional Services, Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO), and Facility Management.

Based in our brand new Krakow office, you will combine strategic sourcing responsibility with hands-on ownership of procurement execution across the full source-to-pay lifecycle, ensuring alignment with Topsoe’s global procurement policies and category strategies. Your responsibilities will include driving sourcing initiatives, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring competitive tendering, ensuring efficient execution of procurement processes from requisition to purchase order, and managing supplier onboarding and procurement system administration.

You will collaborate closely with the Category Manager and cross-functional stakeholders, leveraging global procurement tools like SAP, TopBuy, and GEP Source-to-Contract to deliver measurable business results. Your impact will be seen in cost optimization, supplier performance, and the achievement of sustainability and quality targets, all while fostering strong stakeholder relationships and supporting Topsoe’s mission-critical behaviors.

What you will bring:
You bring a strong background in procurement, with proven expertise in global sourcing and a solid understanding of purchasing within Professional Services, Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO), or Facility Management.

Your commercial mindset is complemented by excellent negotiation and contract management skills, as well as a deep knowledge of supplier agreements, Incoterms, and tender processes. You are adept at using procurement tools such as SAP and have a keen analytical approach to evaluating suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery performance.

Your ability to communicate clearly, collaborate across functions, and build positive stakeholder relationships sets you apart. A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or a related field, along with excellent English skills, rounds out your profile. Most importantly, you are a team player with a positive mindset, ready to contribute to shared success and continuous improvement.
