Senior Lead Buyer - IT & Telecom

Role and impact:
As Senior Lead Buyer for Indirect Procurement, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing sourcing strategies across It and Telecom.

Based in our brand new Krakow office, you will lead complex and high-value procurement projects, ensuring alignment with Topsoe’s global procurement policies and category strategies. Your responsibilities will include driving sourcing initiatives, negotiating with suppliers, securing contract coverage, and ensuring competitive tendering.

You will collaborate closely with the Category Manager within the IT and Telecom area and cross-functional stakeholders, leveraging global procurement tools like SAP, TopBuy, and GEP Source-to-Contract to deliver measurable business results. Your impact will be seen in cost optimization, supplier performance, and the achievement of sustainability and quality targets, all while fostering strong stakeholder relationships and supporting Topsoe’s mission-critical behaviors.

What you will bring:
You bring a strong procurement background with proven experience in global sourcing and solid expertise in purchasing within IT and Telecom. You have in-depth knowledge of procuring IT software, hardware, IT services, and external IT consultants.

You combine a strong commercial mindset with excellent negotiation and contract management skills. In addition, you have a solid understanding of supplier agreements, Incoterms, and tender processes. You are experienced in working with procurement tools such as SAP and take an analytical approach to supplier evaluation, balancing cost, quality, and delivery performance.

You communicate clearly, collaborate effectively across functions, and build strong relationships with stakeholders. You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field and have excellent English skills.
