Student Assistant - Topsoe Battery Materials, Electrochemistry Lab
The role and impact
As a Student Assistant in our electrochemistry lab, you’ll play a hands-on role supporting our R&D efforts in battery materials. Your work will directly contribute to the development and scale-up of advanced cathode materials for Li-ion and Na-ion cells, helping Topsoe and our partners drive the energy transition and combat climate change.
What you’ll bring
You are ideally in your bachelor’s in chemical engineering, applied chemistry, physics, or a related field. You have experience with basic lab equipment and procedures, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to quality and safety. You communicate clearly, can analyze data, and are eager to learn. Prior knowledge of batteries or electrochemistry is an advantage, but not required — interest and motivation are key.
Fluency in English is required; Danish proficiency is a plus.
Why join us
You’ll join a dynamic team of 20 scientists, engineers, and business professionals at our R&D facility, gaining unique insight into product development and scale-up in the battery industry. We offer a flexible, informal work culture built on honesty, trust, and mutual respect, with opportunities for further academic collaboration, such as a master’s project.

We prioritize the safety and well-being of our employees and are committed to maintaining a safe work environment where everyone looks out for each other's health and safety.
