Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey as a Spare Parts Engineer at Topsoe? Join our team of dedicated spare parts engineers and play a crucial role in our successful spare parts business, where your expertise and passion for technical and commercial excellence will make a significant impact.

 

As a Spare Parts Engineer, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by managing spare parts sales and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. You will work closely with internal stakeholders such as technical experts, procurement, financing, and shipping, and directly communicate with customers, providing them with the best solutions for their spare parts needs. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and evaluating technical drawings and specifications to identify and understand the spare parts requirements of our customers
  • Preparation of purchase specification, cost estimation and commercial proposals for customers
  • Review commercial and financial documents, i.e. contracts and purchase orders with support of relevant departments in Topsoe
  • Project execution of orders from purchase orders/contracts to delivery 
  • Combine expert’s inputs and your understanding of customers’ requirements to decide on the best approach for each customer
  • Participate in technical workshop inspections and if required follow-up discussions with internal stakeholders, e.g. mechanical, electrical, material specialist
  • Promptly following up on inquiries to ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining strong relationships.

 

What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone who is not just technically proficient, but also structured and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with a diverse team.

 

Our ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, marine engineering, or a related field, coupled with proven experience in spare parts sales or a similar role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be directly interacting with customers and coordinating with internal stakeholders. Practical and technical knowledge of Chemicals (i.e. ammonia, methanol and hydrogen) plants and equipment is an advantage.
