Who we’re looking for
We are expanding our R&D facilities in Power-to-X to support our growth and development ambitions. Our new site is located a 10-minute drive from our headquarters and will co-exist with our existing facilities. Our new site will over the next years undergo construction work and modification as we are taking over 4600 m2 of existing building mass to accommodate new activities as well as consolidating ongoing activities from multiple other laboratories at our headquarters.

We need a site manager to take on the project owner role during the execution of the establishment project as well as an operational role, assisting the different departments in operating commissioned laboratories safely, efficiently and to Topsoe standards. Together with our specialists and internal engineering team you will scope and mature at least two new laboratories, which you will establish and operate with the new department that you will build from scratch.

You will be part of the R&D Operations team. We are around 30 colleagues operating our PtX laboratories, developing cross functional processes within the R&D department and portfolio management of our equipment investments and long-term site development. We provide operation services to all of our 140 colleagues in Topsoe PtX Technology.
 
What you’ll bring
Branching out to new locations requires us to be diligent about culture and discipline. Your most important task is therefore to lead the change management processes to ensure a smooth transition for both existing and coming activities at our new satellite site.

• you have a profound insight into project management and can handle a fast-paced project with a complex stakeholder landscape
• you have experience with leadership and preferably in an organization with rapid organic growth
• you master the balance between operational leadership and project development and execution
• you naturally prioritize safety and have experience in practicing working permit, lock-out tag-out and failure mode analyzes
• you can help the users of the building to structure their work by e.g. running morning meetings or similar to ensure an efficient and safe working environment
• you have a general understanding of utility systems and safety automation
• experience with commissioning work, preferably in lab og pilot scale.
