Senior Manager for one of our Global Sales & Service teams

We are looking for a manager for our Global Chemical Technical Sales and Service (TS&S) team of approx. 10 engineers. You will be part of an experienced and inspiring management team reporting to the Head of Global Service, and you will be leading a team of specialists within catalyst and catalyst processes working closely with customers, regional sales and service offices and R&D.

Who we’re looking for
As an ideal candidate, we expect that you 

• are passionate about leading and mentoring highly experienced and technically specialized people 
• can drive global and regional initiatives to support and optimize sales and technical service execution
• foster a knowledge-sharing culture and ensure the right structure and processes to support knowledge sharing among team members and regional offices
•  provide escalated support for complex technical issues including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and resolution remotely and on-site in close collaboration with local service teams 
• manage and promote our service portfolio and review performance and relevance of our service portfolio
• manage global guidelines and policies for on-site and off-site services, calculations, and tools used by TS&S
• ensure and manage relevant training and skill levels and development of regional/local TS&S engineers in close collaboration with regional service managers.

 
What you’ll bring
You most likely have a degree in Chemical engineering and approximately 10 years’ experience from the industry. Experience from the Petrochemical industry is preferred but not mandatory.
You probably have experience as a manager and like to work with people and develop people. Preferably you have worked in multicultural and international organizations.
Relevant leadership training is preferred.
You have good intercultural communication skills, strong people skills, high proficiency in English.
You are a team player and like to achieve common targets.
You can think and work both strategically and operationally.
