Product Stewardship Professional

 

The role and impact
Are you interested in Product Stewardship and would you like to work in a team with expertise on chemicals regulation and communication on safe handling of hazardous chemicals? If the answer is yes, then please read on, because this job might be for you.

 

In this role, you will contribute to the compliance of the company regarding chemical regulation and workplace regulation. You will be working on classification and labelling of a broad range of chemicals used in our company and you will create hazard communication (Workplace Instructions) for our R&D, laboratories and all production sites in Denmark and Houston. Furthermore, you will monitor regulation and ensure compliance with some specific regulations/applications, e.g. those related to food regulation. You will also be responsible for managing several specific permits and registrations required for our operations. 

 

What you’ll bring 

We are looking for a colleague with an interest and some experience in hazard communication and compliance with chemicals- and workplace regulation. You are a dynamic team player with focus on the details but at the same time ensuring consistency and a holistic approach. 

 

You have a chemical background and can utilize your chemical insights to understand the regulatory requirements. You are structured, process oriented and eager to learn and to communicate with colleagues, in the team and in the organization.

 

All our documentation and outputs are managed in SAP/EHS, hence interest and flair for IT systems is necessary.

 

You are fluent in Danish and English.

 

Your primary workplace will be in Lyngby with 1-2 days per week at our production facility in Frederikssund.

Your new team
You will be a part of a highly engaged team of five people, with very strong competences within compliance with chemical regulation, hazard communication and product stewardship.
The team has high focus on collaboration, within the team as well as with colleagues in Topsoe who need our outputs and support. Learning, knowledge sharing, and support are integrated values in the team.
