Who we’re looking for

The Product Costing & Master Data team is currently seeking a Product Costing and Master Data Specialist with a strong background in working with master data and standard cost calculations in SAP. This role will primarily involve providing support and guidance to stakeholders across the organization on matters related to material master, production master data, and standard cost calculations. Additionally, you will actively participate in project teams to establish data for new plants and production lines, as well as enhance and optimize existing ones.


Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining efficient processes for creating and changing master data, as well as updating standard costs.
  • Collaborating with the IT organization to implement improvements to the master data foundation and standard cost calculations.
  • Performing master data creation and maintenance through ServiceDesk requests, following defined processes, and in ongoing projects. 
  • Analyzing production data in collaboration with production teams and business partners to identify trends and evaluate the need for changes in production master data.
  • Troubleshooting issues in various supply chain processes, some of which may be related to master data.
  • Providing training and support to end-users on master data processes, SAP functionalities, and best practices.
  • Generating reports and conducting analyses for stakeholders from all areas of the business, typically focusing on standard costs or material master data.

  • Understand complex systems and solve challenging issues, particularly related to master data and standard cost in SAP.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and information exchange across departments in an international organization.
  • Are familiar with manufacturing processes and project systems, particularly in the context of SAP (knowledge in modules such as FI, CO, MM, PS, PP, and QM is preferred).
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • Have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.

 

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and project systems is a plus.
