Who we’re looking for
Our process specialists are experts in sections or the complete plant within our technologies of Ammonia, Hydrogen, Methanol, GTL, Tigas etc. and you will use your vast experience from the industry to support your colleagues within service and sales in the regional offices. You will be in close contact with service engineers and account managers in the regional offices and support them with the most challenging customer cases. Furthermore, you will gather learnings and experience from customers and colleagues but also be involved in troubleshooting and help ensure that issues are solved, together with other specialists within Service, Engineering and R&D. The preservation and expansion of our knowledge is important and will be an important part of this.

 

Your work will include a variety of tasks within the fields of chemical engineering, catalysis and thermodynamics. Our technology products are highly specialized, and you will be offered an environment where you can continue to build on your existing expertise and expand it into related areas. You will be exposed to relevant tasks, extensive training, and the opportunity to participate in relevant courses and work closely with other experts. An important part of the job is to ensure high-quality of on-site service execution and therefore you can expect some travel activities.

 

What you’ll bring

You:

  • have a degree in chemical engineering, chemistry or similar
  • have approximately 10 years’ experience in design and/or operation of ammonia, methanol and hydrogen plants (experience within GTL and Tigas will be an additional advantage)
  • have a flexible and solution-oriented way of approaching people and tasks
  • demonstrate initiative as well as technical flair and commercial understanding
  • are committed to your work, strive to make a difference, and take ownership of own tasks
  • can prioritize and focus on the most important task at hand
  • actively seek to strengthen and specialize your own catalyst and process knowledge
  • have excellent communication and teamwork skills and thrive in cross-cultural contexts
  • are skilled and have experience with complex troubleshooting
  • are highly proficient in spoken and written English
  • are willing to travel between 30-60 days a year.
