Payroll Professionel - Maternity cover

 

The role and impact

To join us on this journey, we are seeking a service-minded Payroll professional to become part of our payroll team, in a temporary maternity cover.

You will primarily work with the daily administrative tasks related to the payroll run for salaried and hourly employees in Denmark. This includes:

  • Proactively address employees’ queries and issues related to payroll and ensure they are promptly and correctly resolved. 
  • Maintenance of master data (payroll, time, pension schemes, tax data, separations, etc.) 
  • Input of shift schedules, vacation quotas, etc. 
  • Provisions for accounting related to payroll data (bonus, exemptions, etc.) 
  • Reconciliations of payroll accounts/balance accounts between Finance and payroll system 
  • E-income 
  • Manage leave administration in cooperation with employees (e.g., plan maternity and paternity calendars with employees) 
  • Handling of long-term sick employees, including regular dialogue and follow-up with managers and municipalities
  • Handling of § 48E taxation 
  • Reporting from SAP 
  • Ensuring correct payroll run 
  •  Drive continuous improvement in the payroll process.

Here are the qualifications we are seeking in our ideal candidate:

  • Knowledge of Danish payroll operations and a passion for delivering excellent service experiences
  • Proactivity and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels to address and resolve issues
  • A structured approach with a focus on quality
  • Adaptability in a dynamic environment where no two days are alike
  • Experience working with payroll, preferably in a large or medium-sized production company
  • Quick learning skills and proficiency in Excel as a natural tool for everyday tasks. Experience with shift work, SAP KMD Nettoløn, and in/out postings is an advantage
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Danish is a prerequisite for this position.

Your new team
Join our dynamic payroll team, which is an integral part of our Global HR Operations. We are a close-knit group of 4 employees dedicated to ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. Currently, we utilize SAP KMD Nettoløn for our monthly payroll run, serving a workforce of approximately 1,800 employees in Denmark. This includes 1,200 salaried employees and 600 hourly employees.

 

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of professionals who are committed to developing standardized processes and continuously improving our work methods. Our focus is on meeting daily goals and deadlines while maintaining the highest level of accuracy and efficiency.

 

Your primary workplace will be at our headquarters in Kgs. Lyngby. However, we expect you to be flexible and mobile, as you will occasionally work at our factory in Frederikssund.
