Manager for Power-to-X Test Center

The role and impact

As Manager of the Power-to-X Test Center, you will be responsible for overseeing our SOEC Test Center in Lyngby. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality test services to internal stakeholders within Power-to-X Technology, including rig configuration, operation, and preliminary data analysis. You will be accountable for the accuracy of test results and for ensuring the continuous, reliable operation of test rigs and supporting utilities.

This position includes line management of an operations team within an R&D organization, where our goal is to drive efficiency by integrating best-in-class lean and production practices in a development-focused environment. While we are making strong progress, you will have the opportunity to shape our continued journey.

Your responsibilities will include planning critical upgrades, managing associated CAPEX investments, and overseeing maintenance shutdowns to ensure the test center is prepared for future needs. You will also maintain close collaboration with our Test Center in Hørsholm and foster strong relationships with internal service providers. Ensuring the Test Center operates efficiently, safely, and remains ready to meet new challenges is central to this role.

Qualifications and experience

  • Degree in a relevant engineering field
  • Experience with lean principles and continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of HSE standards, experience from Work Environment groups is an advantage
  • Background in production and familiarity with R&D environments
  • Fluent in English and Danish, both spoken and written
  • Experience with solid oxide cell technology will be considered an advantage.

Power-to-X R&D Operations serve as the backbone of Power-to-X Technology, supporting the organization by operating test centers and laboratories, and providing essential cross-functional support. At the Test Center, you’ll join a dedicated team of technicians and engineers who have grown together organically over the past few years.
