Junior Strategy Analyst (Student Assistant)

We are looking for a talented Junior Strategy Analyst (Student Assistant) to join Topsoe’s Strategy Team at group level. This is your opportunity to work closely with experienced consultants, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and contribute to projects that shape the future of one of Denmark’s most exciting companies, working to solve climate change.

 

The role and impact
As a Junior Strategy Analyst, you will support the Strategy team on high-priority strategic initiatives and gain experience in corporate strategy, problem-solving, and project management. You will contribute to project work that supports Topsoe’s ambitious transformation towards becoming a global leader in carbon emission reduction technologies. You will join a small, high-impact team of strategists and former management consultants who function as in-house consultants to the C-suite and leadership across the business. You will be part of a collaborative and ambitious environment with high expectations and lots of learning.

Qualifications

  • You are studying on the final year of your B.Sc. or first year of your M.Sc. in business, economics, engineering, political science, or a related field
  • You are comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • You communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken
  • Experience from case competitions, consultancy student positions or similar extracurriculars is a plus

Your new team
You will work directly with the Strategy team on tasks such as:

  • Supporting strategic projects through analysis, research, and preparation of presentations
  • Performing competitor and market analyses, investment cases, and strategy deep-dives
  • Preparing meetings and material for senior leadership and key decision-makers
  • Collaborating with colleagues across functions like R&D, Commercial, Operations, and Finance
  • Developing insights that help Topsoe make decisions at the highest level
