The team Group Finance in Topsoe is right now looking forward to welcoming a new Group Financial Controller – maybe it’s you?

As our new Group Financial Controller, you will be working closely together with the rest of the team to secure that we deliver accurate and timely internal and external reporting. Also, you will be the one improving our automation as well as our internal control framework and environment. You will ensure high quality and insights into financials and analyses on internal and external reporting. 

Your responsibilities will amongst other be:

• Ensuring accurate and timely internal- and external financial reporting (monthly/quarterly/annually) together with the rest of our teams
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, preparing controlling reports with findings, recommendations, and action plans for management
• Taking on the responsibility for specific E2E processed/areas in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
• Improving, implementing, and maintaining internal controls and E2E processes globally including evaluating the effectiveness of our risk- and control, processes and providing guidance and support to management
• Working closely together with our end-to-end process optimization team for specific E2E projects as well as our finance departments around the world.

What you’ll bring
This role requires a versatile professional who can handle a wide range of financial responsibilities, including understanding of internal controls, financial analysis, and reporting. You are comfortable in IFRS and have an interest in improving and implementing internal controls to ensure high quality in the Group reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting from a position of Group Controller or Auditor, preferably with experience in SAP. 

Besides this you:

• Hold a university degree at master level equivalent to Cand.Merc.Aud.
• Are proficient in financial software and ERP systems, preferably with hands-on experience with SAP
• Are a good communicator and are proficient in Danish and English, both written and oral
• Have an excellent sense of quality in all deliverables and a strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Have a strong understanding of data analysis as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Have experience in internal controls as well as an interest in improving and implementing internal controls to ensure high quality.
