Finance Business Partner

The role and impact
Do you see yourself as a person who can demonstrate initiative as well as economic flair? Do you want to learn production economy and business partnering in an international team with three production facilities around the world? Then you might be the person, we are looking for. The team Production Economy in Topsoe is right now looking for a new Finance Business Partner. 

Your tasks will among others be:

• Being financial responsible for the production economy, for a line or unit in one of our production facilities. This includes OEE, asset utilization and standard cost prices.
• Being responsible for the production costs (Gross and Net) for Actual, Budget and Forecast numbers and analysis/commentary on variations and development.
• Making analyses of variances to Standard cost per production unit.
• Being in close cooperation with the master data team to link the performance management with the production related metrics (capacities, BOM, etc.).
• Improving performance and creating valuable insights to the line or unit.
• Doing ad hoc analyses across Topsoe production facilities (price development, cost base understanding, standardizing processes and much more).

What you’ll bring 
People describe you as a highly engaged individual with a passion for making a difference. You are responsible, independent, and methodical, and you often get acknowledged for your direct and honest communication. 
Other than that, you can work in many different team constellations across different seniority levels in a production setup, and you have flair for troubleshooting and getting the house in order.

We do not expect that you have a background within production performance management. Your experience might as well come from auditing, financial controlling, business controlling or such. This could also be your first experience after your education.

As Finance Business Partner in the Production Economy team, you will have an exciting opportunity to put your analytical skills into practice and work together with these highly experienced and dedicated professionals that supports Topsoe’s Global Supply organization. Together with your colleagues, you will turn data into insights, provide the leaders in the production with accurate and insightful analysis and help driving the facility though financial data, transparency and business partnering at a key cornerstone of our business – namely our production.
