Copywriter

Are you passionate about words that inspire change?
At Topsoe, we are at the forefront of innovation in the chemical and engineering sectors, dedicated to creating advanced solutions for the global energy transition. As our colleague prepares for maternity leave, we are looking for a structured, talented, and creative Copywriter to join our Global Commercial Marketing team and ensure continuity in our customer-facing communications about our technologies and solutions. This 12 months maternity cover is a unique opportunity to help maintain and strengthen our brand voice.

Role Overview
As a Copywriter at Topsoe, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our marketing communications and ensuring our messaging resonates across all customer-facing channels. You will collaborate closely with marketing colleagues, product line managers, and other stakeholders across the business to develop compelling content that supports our commercial objectives and strengthens our brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create engaging and effective text on our products and solutions for all customer-facing materials, including brochures, white papers, case stories, leaflets, and more.
  • Develop LinkedIn content (organic and paid) to boost our brand presence and engagement.
  • Craft e-mail marketing campaigns, including eBlasts, two monthly newsletters, and lead nurturing flows.
  • Write and optimize content on our solutions, products, and catalysts for our website and landing pages to support the buyer journey and drive conversions.
  • Produce articles for the website that highlight our expertise, solutions, and customer successes.
  • Develop copy for adverts, campaigns, and product launches across digital and print channels.

Additionally, you will work with our Digital Marketing Manager to analyze and improve open rates and other key metrics for our marketing communication. You will also be responsible for coordinating content creation with our other in-house content writers and planning which content we add to our newsletters and LinkedIn platforms.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience as a Copywriter in a B2B marketing environment, preferably within technology, engineering, or energy sectors.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and channels.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, including social media, email marketing, and website content best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with colleagues across teams and functions.
  • Analytical approach to content performance, with a willingness to learn and optimize based on data.
  • Experience with Account Based Marketing and product launches is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with content management systems is a plus (we use Monday.com).

As you will have many international colleagues, and English is the company language, it is essential that you are fluent in English, both in writing and verbally.

Why join us
At Topsoe, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our global marketing initiatives. Your contributions will help shape our global brand presence and drive our mission of sustainability and innovation. Your new team
You will join a dynamic and harmonious marketing team of nine that values team spirit, continuous development, and collaboration across the company, where the forthcoming and inclusive “Topsoe Spirit” is strongly emphasized. Your immediate manager is committed to recognizing and appreciating the work and contributions of individual team members, creating an environment where your efforts are valued and there is room for flexibility.
