Senior HSE lead to the SOEC (Solid Oxide Electrolysis Cell) factory in Herning.

We are now looking for a new colleague to coordinate & lead HSE planning activities at the SOEC factory in Herning.


Who we’re looking for
We’re on the hunt for a senior HSE lead who will help us setting high standards for how we work with health, safety and environment in the SOEC factory in Herning. You have a scientific background such as a BSc or MSc in chemistry/biology disciplines, and you have some years of experience within HSE in a manufacturing environment.


Sound like you? If it does, we have an open role within our QEHS team in our new factory in Herning. 


Your initial focus will, as part of the project organization responsible for building the factory, be to:

  • Participate in defining, writing & implementing HSE procedures and instructions for a new production environment.
  • Participate in defining, writing & implementing HSE systems for a new production environment.

 

After the project implementation / Commissioning you will focus on:

  • Ensuring proper implementation of global and local standards, processes, and instructions.
  • Initiating relevant improvements and changes to standards, processes, and instructions.
  • Carrying out audits and following up on deviations.
  • Following up on and handling incidents.
  • Establishing and maintaining risk register & risk heatmaps/ HAZOP documentation and data.
  • Conducting risk & safety assessments on process changes. 
  • Participating in DAM and being the voice of health & safety on the shopfloor.


What you’ll bring
You are motivated about being part of the journey establishing a factory and after the commissioning to be in a more well-established job. You are self-motivated and can work under pressure and on own initiative as well as making decisions quickly. You thrive using your organizational and technical knowledge and have good communication skills both written and verbal. Your knowledge of HS & E process planning in a mass production company are preferably strong. You know the importance of engaging with colleagues throughout the organization incl. the production floor. 


Preferably you have experience with:

  • ISO standards
  • HS&E legislations
  • Chemistry/biology disciplines
  • Application of process safety tools (HAZOP, SIL …)
  • Investigation techniques
  • Auditing
