Senior HR Business Partner

The role and impact

As a Senior Human Resources Business Partner, you will be an integrated member of the Power-to-X Herning leadership team, ensuring that Topsoe's people strategy is fully aligned with the business strategy and operational needs. Acting as a strategic liaison between Human Resources (HR) and the business, you will serve as a trusted advisor to the Plant Manager in Herning and his leadership team on all HR-related matters, especially where the people agenda is central.

You will leverage your business acumen to connect business challenges to HR activities and outcomes, using data strategically to influence decisions. Your role will focus on strengthening company culture and the employee experience. You will drive the annual people cycle - including calibration, people reviews, Topsoe Talks, and Topsoe Voices - through the Plant Manager and their leadership team.

Additionally, you will lead strategic initiatives, ensure the implementation of global HR best practices, and provide guidance on mission, tasks, communication, and change management. You will counsel, challenge, and advise the Plant Manager and his team to drive performance through a focus on capabilities, structure, and engagement, while also handling recruitment cases and promoting Topsoe's culture and values.

What you will bring

To excel in this role, you bring a solid understanding of business operations and the impact of HR on achieving business objectives, ideally with experience from a production environment. You are highly skilled in managing the annual HR cycle and related deliverables, with a strong emphasis on outcomes rather than processes. Your proficiency in structuring and presenting key data enables you to influence decisions effectively. You can encourage and enable leaders to act as talent developers, and you thrive in ambiguous environments, demonstrating resilience and adaptability. As a trusted advisor, you operate with high integrity and possess the courage to constructively challenge leaders and impact decisions in leadership forums. Your excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, combined with your ability to ensure smooth collaboration across HR, are essential to your success in this role.

Your new team

You will be a valued member of the Power-to-X Herning leadership team and also join the Global Human Resources Business Partnering team, collaborating with HR Business Partners across multiple locations, where you will get the opportunity for sparring. Furthermore, you will benefit from dedicated support provided by the HR headquarter teams in Lyngby. So, although you, on a daily bases, will operate on your own, you will be closely connected to the rest of the HR organization.
