Herning, DK, 7400
QC Operator
The role and impact
As a Quality Control (QC) Operator at our Herning factory, you play a pivotal role in ensuring that all raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products are tested and released according to strict specifications, approved methods, and safety and quality requirements. Your work is essential for maintaining stable production by delivering accurate and timely results, and by escalating any deviations promptly.
You will be responsible for performing quality controls and tests in production, preparing reagents and standards, setting up and checking equipment, and documenting results accurately in QC systems and logbooks. You will also evaluate results against specifications, report out-of-specification or atypical findings, support investigations, and provide fast feedback to production teams. Maintaining QC equipment, ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives and audits are also key aspects of your role. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality are crucial in upholding our high standards and driving ongoing improvements.
What you will bring
You bring a structured and reliable approach, a strong quality mindset, and high attention to detail. Ideally, you have a vocational or technical education in laboratory, quality control, chemistry, or process technology, and experience from QC or laboratory work in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
You are comfortable with digital documentation systems and possess basic IT skills. Your ability to follow methods and procedures precisely, willingness to learn new methods and equipment, and strong communication and collaboration skills with production and other stakeholders will be key to your success. You are adept at prioritizing tasks and delivering results on time, even in a dynamic environment.
