Head of EPCM Procurement

Role and impact

As the Head of EPCM Procurement, you will lead this team and discipline globally. You will be member of Global Procurement Leadership as well as EPCM Leadership team. You will be responsible for overseeing all EPCM projects at Topsoe. You will champion a performance management culture, positioning Global Procurement as a trusted business partner, driving value. You will have a relentless drive to deliver value and to continuously improve.

Your role will involve optimizing digitalization within your area, acting as an ambassador for Global Procurement across the company, and developing your team to meet the future needs of Topsoe and its customers. You will coach the EPCM Procurement team, ensuring the best total cost of ownership, effective project, suppliers and contract management, as well as risk mitigation throughout project execution. You will own supplier relationships, select suppliers and negotiate agreements; manage HR activities, and drive performance management on both financial performance, effective behavior and stakeholder satisfaction. As a member of EPCM Leadership, you are responsible for excellent cooperation where trust plays an important role. Your leadership will be key in driving strategic projects delivery and linking with the Power-to-X (PtX) team for customer projects.

What you will bring

You have significant leadership experience and a proven track record in global procurement organizations, particularly within EPC or EPCM projects. Your expertise includes in-depth knowledge of EPCM procurement, global sourcing, and category management; as well as excellence in commercial and financial understanding. Experience with digital procurement platforms (such as GEP, Coupa, Zycus, or Ariba) is an advantage. You are excellent in complex contract negotiation, sustainability, category analysis and planning, strategic sourcing, supplier management, risk management, and business partnering. Your commitment to life-long learning and development further enhances your ability to lead and inspire your team.

You bring a strong academic background, such as a master's degree (e.g., Cand. Merc.) or a bachelor's degree (e.g., HD in Logistics or Supply Chain Management), or equivalent experience.

You will lead a dedicated team of procurement professionals located across multiple countries.
