We are looking for a skilled Commercial Manager (Parental leave) to join Topsoe’s Strategic Partnerships, Commercial & Asset Management team within our Power-to-X Commercial Organization.

In this important role, you will be at the forefront of advancing Power-to-X solutions, providing commercial insights, support executive decision-making, and supporting negotiations for Topsoe’s pioneering Power-to-X contracts.

As Commercial Manager, you will:

  • Support and collaborate with the wider Power-to-X Commercial team, working closely with key functions (Finance, R&D, Supply-chain, Project Execution…) to drive successful project outcomes
  • Prepare impactful assessments and presentations for Senior Management and the Board of Directors, influencing high-level strategy and direction
  • Enhance the team’s capabilities by developing and refining tools, methodologies, and processes in areas such as risk management and pricing.

What you’ll bring
You are a proactive and collaborative professional with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for driving business success. Your ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights sets you apart, and you thrive in dynamic, cross-functional environments.

To excel in this role, you bring:

  • Proven experience (2-5 years) in business or financial analysis, with a track record of developing accurate business cases and preparing impactful management presentations in PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills, enabling you to transform complex information into fact-based recommendations and strategic advice for senior leadership
  • Stakeholders’ management skills, coupled with the curiosity to understand technical insights and translate them into commercial value
  • A degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal (Danish not required)
  • A collaborative approach, working effectively across departments and stakeholder groups as a positive, service-minded, and proactive team player
  • High attention to detail and the ability to maintain a broad perspective on business complexities
  • The ability to build compelling business rationales and communicate them clearly to diverse audiences.

Prior exposure to the energy or chemicals sector is an advantage (but not required).
