Senior Global Quality Manager - Shape global quality excellence across production sites
Role and impact
As Senior Global Quality Manager, you will define, implement, and continuously enhance the quality strategy across all production and operational activities, ensuring that products and processes consistently meet internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations. Your leadership will drive operational excellence and foster a culture of continuous improvement across our three plants in Frederikssund (DK), Herning (DK), and Bayport (US).
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading Operations Quality: Provide leadership and direction for Operations Quality, including people development, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration across Operations and Supply Chain globally
- Owning the Operations Quality Management System (QMS): Ensure compliance with applicable standards, customer requirements, and Topsoe governance by owning and continuously improving the Operations QMS
- Ensuring Product and Process Quality: Govern quality assurance and quality control across incoming materials, manufacturing, process control, laboratory testing, and product release
- Driving Continuous Improvement: Monitor quality performance and KPI’s, and lead structured root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and sustainable improvement initiatives
- Audit and Compliance Oversight: Lead internal and external audits, inspections, and customer quality reviews, ensuring timely closure of findings
- Laboratory and Calibration Governance: Provide governance for operational laboratories and calibration/metrology systems, ensuring data integrity, competence, traceability, and compliance.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the quality agenda, collaborating closely with colleagues across functions and geographies to ensure Topsoe’s continued success and reputation for excellence.
What you will bring
You bring a Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related field, along with extensive experience in quality management within production and operations. Your proven leadership in complex manufacturing or process industries is complemented by strong knowledge and experience of ISO 9001 quality standards and audit practices.
You possess a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and operational workflows, and are skilled in Lean, six sigma (preferably certified black belt), structured problem-solving methodologies, risk management, control plans, Advanced Product Quality Planning, Statistical Process Control, and Measurement Systems Analysis.
Your analytical and data-driven decision-making skills are matched by your ability to influence across functions, pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset, high integrity, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills at all organizational levels.

Globally, you will exchange best practices and innovative ideas with colleagues from different regions to drive quality excellence. Locally, you will work side by side with dedicated professionals at the plants, acting as a key stakeholder and trusted advisor.
