Do you have proven hands-on experience as a Plant Maintenance Technician or a similar role in a Manufacturing or Industrial setting? Then you might be the person, we are looking for. Topsoe Power-to-X Aftermarket Service is right now looking for a Plant Site Maintenance Technician – maybe it’s you?  

 

You will play a pivotal role in guaranteeing the optimal operation and peak performance of TOPSOE equipment and technologies installed at plants facilities globally. Executing maintenance activities, tackling issues as they arise, and implementing proactive strategies to minimize downtime and boost overall productivity. Your primary duties will encompass routine/scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs, intended at preserving our equipment and machinery in their best condition, to deliver performance guarantees and turnkey solutions with end-to-end support and onsite availability to our customers. Your specialized skills and meticulous approach will be instrumental in minimizing downtime, increasing productivity, and upholding the safety of our workforce and products.

 

Your responsibilities will amongst other be:

  • Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance on plant equipment and machinery to identify potential issues and address them proactively
  • Performing repairs and troubleshooting mechanical and/or electrical systems to resolve breakdowns and malfunctions promptly
  • Developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to maximize equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime
  • Collaborating with the Engineering and Material Management teams to plan maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and equipment history records
  • Conducting root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions
  • Coordinating with external service providers and contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance tasks as per contractual arrangements.

 

Our new Plant Site Maintenance Technician will report to the Field service manager. The role will start in Frederikssund, moving to Worldwide deployment at customer facilities after a couple of years.

As Plant Site Maintenance Technician, you will have an entrepreneur mindset, and you will never compromise on safety.

 

Besides this you: 

  • Ideally have a Maskinmester, or Electricial, Mechanical, Smith, or equivalent technical degree with at least 5 years Maintenance experience in Oil/Gas Refinery, Chemical Industry, Power Plant or Pharmaceuticals on execution of Routine, Scheduled and Unscheduled maintenance activities and Plant shutdowns
  • Have proficiency in English (both spoken and written) as this is the Company language
  • Have proficiency in computerised maintenance management systems, Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and standards related to plant maintenance, such as ISO 9001 and API standards
  • Certification in maintenance-related areas such as CMRP (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional) is preferred
  • Experience with instrumentation and/or plant commissioning is considered an advantage, as well as any industrial certified training such as Lifting, Welding, Hot work, confined space, working at heights, etc.
