Senior Environmental, Health and Safety Manager – Pasadena, TX
The role and impact
As a Senior Environmental, Health and Safety Manager is located at Topsoe’s manufacturing site. You will be responsible for leading and managing all environmental, health, safety, process safety, risk management, property protection, and facility security activities for the Bayport site. This position ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company standards and policies. The role serves as a key resource to site leadership and plant personnel, providing strategic direction, technical guidance, and operational support to promote regulatory compliance, risk reduction, and continuous improvement in EHS performance.
What you’ll bring
B.S. in Safety, Environmental Sciences, Engineering and are related field required.
Certification preferred in CSOP and/or CIH preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience managing an EHS function within a manufacturing, chemical or refiner environment.
Strong knowledge of environmental compliance, including air, water and waste management.
Strong knowledge of occupational safety and process safety managements systems.
Familiarity with emissions testing programs safety management systems.

Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with regulatory agencies, plant leadership, and cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and incident investigation skills.
Demonstrated ability to drive compliance, risk reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will join Topsoe’s Environmental Health and Safety team, working closely with colleagues locally and globally to develop global standards and long-range strategic initiatives. The team supports the plant and office support staff located at our Houston and Washington D.C. location.
